We offer comprehensive science CPD programmes for science teachers, technicians and teaching assistants across the region. Our CPD leaders are drawn from experienced educational consultants, practising teachers, technicians and partners across the region.
Much of the work we do is direct with schools, colleges, networks, clusters and alliances. This activity can be through bespoke programmes of CPD, or single courses run for your department or cluster.
As part of this National Network we are made aware of funding opportunities for teachers and schools (such as the Enthuse Partnership Awards, and the Polar Explorer Programme) via the DfE and are able to advertise these to eligible schools and support them with their applications.
Sign up to our weekly newsletter here to find out about these, or contact us for further information angelika.bowmer@ntlearningtrust.org.uk
Would you like to be involved in sharing your good practice? We are always looking to develop the existing talent within our partner schools, to support teachers in delivering CPD sessions both within their own school and for the wider network. Contact us to find out more about the Facilitator Development Programme.
Schools across the North East can sign up to host an SLP course and it is a great way to get your staff free training. Your school is eligible to charge a venue fee to cover the cost of sending 2 delegates on the CPD course, you can also receive funding for catering costs.
