This term, as part of our priority to improve employment opportunities in our schools, we held our first Employer/ Teacher network event at Wallsend Customer First Centre. A range of local businesses and organisations attended, all wanting to work with local schools and the event gave school staff a unique opportunity to speak directly to representatives about how they can work together in the future.
Feedback was extremely positive and as it was such a success we are planning to hold similar events throughout the year with the next one focussing on STEM.
