Apprenticeship BursaryNorth Tyneside Learning Trust has supported employers in North Tyneside, including many Trust Partner Schools, to create over 100 new apprenticeships for young people leaving Trust secondary schools. Our apprentices have brought considerable value to their place of work and have been employed in a broad range of occupational areas, including engineering, mechanics, business administration and ICT. The Trust offers a bursary of £3,500 to Trust Partner Schools to support the employment of an apprentice aged 16-19 who has previously attended one of the Trust secondary schools. |

Arts Award BursaryArts Award is a range of unique qualifications that supports all children and young people to grow as artists and arts leaders, inspiring them to connect with and take part in the wider arts world. Arts Award also builds 21st century skills such as teamwork, resilience and leadership. Arts Award develops creative learners and supports student achievement. It is suitable for all learners and can be delivered as a universal offer, a targeted intervention or extra-curricular Arts Award can be offered at five levels, one introductory award and four regulated qualifications. Two levels have been developed with primary school aged children in mind. Learners can progress through all five levels, or start at the level most suited to them. At gold level, students can achieve 16 UCAS points with Arts Award. The Trust offers a bursary of £250 to partner schools to register and be supported to achieve the Arts Award. Artsmark BursaryThe Artsmark is the only creative quality standard for schools and education settings, accredited by Arts Council England. Open to all Trust Partner Schools, Artsmark helps to build young people’s confidence, character and resilience through arts and cultural education and celebrates your schools commitment to cultural education. Connexions SubsidyThe Trust provides Trust middle, secondary and special schools with a subsidy to enable full access to the Connexions service. The service provides a range of support including one-to-one IAG, training, signposting and career interventions. |

Show Racism the Red Card BursaryNorth Tyneside Learning Trust are continuing to work in partnership with Show Racism the Red Card and be able to provide Trust Partner Schools with a bursary towards the cost of workshops within school. Workshops and sessions provide an opportunity for young people to discuss racism, prejudice and discrimination in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Working with Show Racism the Red Card to deliver anti-racism educational workshops can help ensure that young people are provided with this opportunity to question, and ultimately reject Trust primary schools can claim up to £300 towards the cost, while Trust secondary schools can claim up to £500.
