Local Leaders
Local Leaders
Working with the Trust, Local Leaders are experienced teachers from Partner Schools who support staff in schools by sharing their knowledge, experience and expertise.
AI
AI is an exciting but potentially challenging area for schools. The Trust uses the skills of leaders from Partner Schools to provide capacity to help other schools and support the use of AI.
The support available to help a school includes:
- Support specific staff
- Design CPD opportunities
- Deliver CPD
- Raise awareness of the use of AI to help the school plan

SEND
The Trust’s Local Leaders for Education for SEND are based at Benton Dene Schools.
Claire Harrison-Hoggarth, Headteacher and Anna De Courcy, SENCO provide a range of peer to peer services to support mainstream and special schools across the trust.
There is a range of support available to schools but it may include:
- Bespoke 1:1 support
- Support for new to role SENCOs
- Deliver CPD
- Online and in person CPD
- Bespoke CPD to meet an individual or group of schools needs
- Learning walks
- Support with recruitment processes
- Visits to schools for specific environmental or pupil need
- Visits to Benton Dene Schools to share good practice.
We are always open to suggestions as to how we can be of support to our trust schools in relation to SEND.
