Earlier this month, North Tyneside Learning Trust was proud to host the annual Star Awards ceremony, an evening dedicated to celebrating the outstanding achievements of children and young people from across our Partner Schools.

Now in its 12th year, the Star Awards have become a highlight of the Trust’s calendar, recognising pupils who have gone above and beyond in areas such as creativity, leadership, resilience, and community spirit.

🎉 An Evening to Remember
This year’s ceremony brought together pupils, families, school staff, and distinguished guests for a joyful celebration at St James Park. As ever, the evening was filled with inspiring stories of young people making a difference in their schools and communities.

We were delighted to welcome back Matt Bailey as our master of ceremonies, guiding the evening with his signature energy and warmth. From the moment the first winner took to the stage, the room was filled with pride, applause, and more than a few happy tears.

Winners were recognised across a range of categories, each one showcasing the unique talents and achievements of children and young people in North Tyneside. From supporting classmates and overcoming challenges to showcasing exceptional talent, every award winner embodied the values that sit at the heart of the Trust’s work.
