The WOW Programme is designed to support meaningful and quality careers interventions in Trust Partner Schools in North Tyneside. One of the key ways in which we do this is to engage with businesses to bring to life the world of work for children and young people.
Why get involved?
By getting involved, businesses can:
- Develop future talent: Engage with young people early, shape their understanding of your sector and inspire the next generation of employees.
- Support and inspire young people: Share real experiences, real journeys and real opportunities, helping to build confidence, ambition and aspiration.

What do our events involve?
Careers Fairs
A showcase event where businesses, apprenticeship providers, training organisations, colleges and universities connect with students.
Mock Interviews
Conduct 10 minute mock interviews with up to 10 students using questions provided and then give constructive feedback.
Career Speed Dating
An energetic networking session where students interview professionals in a fun, fast paced format.
CareerZone Workshops
Provide a deeper insight into your profession with small groups of students in 15 minute sessions.
Career Workshops
One hour employer led practical workshops delivered to a full class really showcasing your sector/job.
Market Masters Enterprise Activity
Students work in teams to create businesses experiencing the different roles required for success.
