The difference it makes
89% of students taking part in a mock interview in 2024/2025 said the experience increased their confidence for future interviews
92% of students felt the interview and feedback gave them suggestions and ideas for future interviews
What the young people say:
“Asking questions is important due to showing interest”
“Just think and calm down before you answer then it’s easy”
“Always be confident and do research about the company beforehand”
What the volunteers say:
“The students interviewed were exceptional today. I am sure that they will all excel in future interviews”
“I found it rewarding to help young people who are potentially going out into the workplace. Interviews can be intimidating so trying to give tips beforehand can help.”
