Meet the Core Team

Kehri Ellis, Chief Executive

Kehri was appointed Chief Executive of North Tyneside Learning Trust in October 2012. Kehri joined the Trust after six years as Director of Newcastle Partnership and has a wealth of experience in successful partnership working. Her previous roles include Head of Social Investment at Sunderland Housing Group (now Gentoo) as well as a number of senior management roles within national charities. Kehri’s career began in housing, managing the homelessness and housing advice service at Sunderland City Council. Kehri has an MA in Housing Policy and Management, an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Katrina Moffat BEM, Project Manager

Katrina joined the Trust in September 2020 and has responsibility for overseeing a range of projects as well as managing the Trust communications and marketing. She has held varied roles in the education sector including Student Recruitment Coordinator at Northumbria University, Programme Manager at Villiers Park Educational Trust, a national charity working with disadvantaged young people, and most recently, Programme Manager at NCFE supporting the development of qualifications. Katrina has an MSc in Project Management.

Katrina was awarded the British Empire Medal in the New Year’s Honours in 2022 for services to young people in North Tyneside.
