Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a great way for young people to learn real skills whilst earning at the same time and North Tyneside Learning Trust works alongside its partner schools and local businesses to provide and promote apprenticeship opportunities. There are huge benefits to employing an apprentice for businesses too, including upskilling a currently employee as well as hiring a new member of staff. Employing an apprentice

Funding is available for any Trust school to cover the training costs for an apprentice, email katrina.moffat@ntlearningtrust.org.uk to find out more. It is important that schools contact the Trust before starting the recruitment process to ensure there is capacity for new apprentices.

Apprenticeship bursary

The Trust provides a bursary to cover approximately half the salary costs at the apprenticeship rate. For further information on how to access this bursary please contact the Trust.
