We are a highly driven department who nurture aspiration and success within our students. Our curriculum is ambitious and culturally enriching; it is designed to inspire a love of reading, writing and creativity, and also to empower students to drive change in the world around them. Our excellent GCSE results are testament to our ethos and vision, and the department has recently been awarded the Lord Glenamara Memorial Prize for Excellence in English by the Department of Education.

While this position seeks a talented teacher who is ready to commence a role in leadership, we are also particularly interested to hear from candidates who have experience in marking / moderating or advising within the exam board setting and an additional incentive may be available for the right candidate – although we must stress that this is not essential.
